Julia Akins Clark Appointed as FLRA General Counsel for a Second Term (August 12, 2014)

Julia Akins Clark was appointed on August 8, 2014, to a second five-year term as the General Counsel of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA).  Ms. Clark was initially appointed FLRA General Counsel by President Obama on August 10, 2009.  Ms. Clark was nominated by the President for a second term in February and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on July 23, 2014.  For the full announcement, click here.

FLRA Regional Director Appointed (July 31, 2014)

The Office of General Counsel (OGC) of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra LeBold as Regional Director of the Chicago Regional Office. Ms. LeBold will be responsible for management of personnel and operations relating to the investigation, analysis, resolution, and litigation of unfair labor practice cases in the Chicago Region, which covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.   In addition, she will supervise the processing of representation petitions for cases arising in her Region. FLRA Announces Negotiability and Arbitration Training (June 6, 2014)
