U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Washington, D.C. and National Treasury Employees Union Case No. WA-RP-9008 (Decided May 5, 2000)
The RD found that the Union's proposed nationwide unit of Agency employees was appropriate under section 7112(a) of the Statute, and he directed an election in that unit. The Authority denied the Agency's application for review, noting that the decision did not raise issues for which there was an absence of precedent. The Authority added that the RD did not fail to apply established law.
