FLRA Announces Regional Labor-Relations Workshops Engaging Federal Workers to Design the Future Workplace (January 28, 2016)

FLRA Announces Appointment of Regional Attorney in the Denver Regional Office (December 16,2015)

Julia Akins Clark, General Counsel of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), today announced the appointment of Paige Swenson as the Regional Attorney of the Denver Regional Office.  In her new position, Ms. Swenson will assist Denver Regional Director Timothy Sullivan in the management of personnel and operations relating to the investigation and resolution of unfair labor practice and representation cases in the Denver Region, which covers Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.  For the full announcement, click here.  

FLRA Ranks #3 Among Small Agencies in the 2015 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government Rankings (December 8, 2015)

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is pleased to announce that it has captured the #3 small agency ranking in the 2015 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government rankings – up from #5 in 2014.  The FLRA was honored for this achievement today by the Partnership for Public Service, which, along with Deloitte, produces the Best Places to Work rankings.  The rankings provide critical information to help agencies, the administration, and Congress assess workplace health and performance by measuring overall satisfaction and commitment, as well as employee attitudes on various workplace categories. FLRA General Counsel Issues Guidance on Meetings (September 1, 2015)

FLRA Announces Training Opportunities (June 19, 2015)

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) announces today a series of complimentary training opportunities in Washington, D.C.  The Authority is offering both its one-day arbitration training and its one day negotiability training (two separate sessions of each).  And the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is presenting a specialized two-day workshop on office moves, space allocations, and the labor-relations and collective-bargaining implications.  For the full announcement, click here.     

Timothy J. Sullivan Named Regional Director of FLRA Denver Regional Office (June 18, 2015)

The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy J. President Obama Appoints Members to the Federal Service Impasses Panel (June 2, 2015)

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is pleased to announce that President Obama has appointed Marvin E. Johnson and David E. Walker as Members of the Federal Service Impasses Panel (Panel), an independent entity within the FLRA.  FLRA Chairman Carol Waller Pope expressed her pleasure at the announcement, which means that the Panel now has a full complement of seven Members.  She looks forward to continuing to work with the Panel Members to accomplish the FLRA’s important mission.  For the full announcement, click here.
