What is the due date for filing exceptions to an arbitrator's award?

A party has 30 days beginning on the date of service of the award to file an exception with the Authority. The date of service is not the date the award is received by the party, but the date the award is either deposited in the U.S. mail, deposited with a commercial delivery service that will provide a record showing the date the document was tendered to the delivery service, by electronic mail, or delivered in person. In addition, five days are added to the computation if the award is served by mail or commercial delivery. These requirements are set forth in sections 2425.1(b) and 2429.21(b) and 2429.22 of the Authority's Regulations.
