Components

The FLRA comprises 3 components:  

1. the Authority, which primarily decides cases
2. the Office of the General Counsel, which primarily investigates and prosecutes cases; and 
3. the Federal Service Impasses Panel, which resolves negotiation impasses.

All 3 components use alternative dispute resolution in their respective roles.
