DECISION REMANDING CASE TO

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

The Regional Director of the Washington Region of the Federal Labor Relations Authority issued a Complaint and Notice of Hearing in this matter. A hearing was held pursuant to that Complaint before Chief Administrative Law Judge Samuel A. Chaitovitz on March 19, 1996 at Washington, D.C.

The hearing in this mater was reopened on July 17, 1996 to permit the parties to address some 11 motions and responses filed after the filing of the post-hearing briefs.

At this reopened hearing the parties were able to agree on a settlement of this case. Accordingly, Counsel for the General Counsel of the FLRA moved that this case be remanded to the Regional Director for the Washington Region of the FLRA so that he can approve the Settlement Agreement. Accordingly the hearing was closed.

Whereas the parties have reached a settlement with respect to this case and,

Whereas the Counsel for the General Counsel has moved to remand the case to the Regional Director, it is hereby,

ORDERED that the case is remanded to the Regional Director for purposes of approving the Settlement Agreement.
