This basic labor law course will cover the rights and duties of federal employers, federal employees and the Unions that represent them.  The course will be taught by FLRA OGC Boston Regional Director Phil Roberts and Boston Regional Attorney William Kirsner.  

Topics to be addressed include: An introduction to the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute, an overview of the FLRA and the unfair labor practice charge process, and information about specific unfair labor practices including investigatory examinations, formal discussions and bypasses, discrimination and retaliation under the Statute, the union’s duty of fair representation and information requests.
