Virtual training will be conducted on two days, October 27th and October 28th, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm Mountain Time.
This course offers a broad overview of federal-sector labor law. Topics include: the duty to bargain; meetings, including formal discussions, bypasses, and investigatory examinations (or Weingarten meetings); interference with statutory rights and discrimination based on protected activity; bars to filing ULP charges, such as timeliness and prior grievances; Information requests; and Representation issues. Exercises may be incorporated throughout the day to enhance the learning process. (This course is at no cost to attendees.)
Pre-registration is required. This training will be completed virtually via WebEx; WebEx can be viewed as a web based module but is best viewed by downloading the app to your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
